Is this flattery, or ignorance?

oh, a lot of republicans get it. i'd say, speaking as the independent i am, that as many democrats didn't "get it" as republicans. republican mantra is unchanged, with partisan agreement taking center stage. democrat mantra for change was borderline jim jones kool ade in its lack of specificity, yet people flocked to it like a free handout. i'd say both side have many things they don't get, and pointing the finger at one means you're pointing three back at your own group.
