How long is pee still good for a pregnancy test?

I couldnt hold my pee while I was waiting on my husband to get home with the test so i peed in a bowl. When he got home he had a ovulation test in stead of a pregnancy test so i had to go get a pregnacy test. Overall the pee was sittin in the bowl for about an hour i dipped the test and it came up negative. Im 5 days late on my second round of clomid.
