I think i might be going into labour please help!!?

hi, well all this started last week, i was at midwife appointment and she said that baby was 3/5 engaged, but since then i have been having funny twinges down below, but from 5am this morning i have had really bad back ache and keep getting back spasm's every so often, also i have really bad stomach pains like really bad period pains every so often, i am 34 weeks pregnant on friday, i was just wondering if anyone has a clue as to weather I'm going into labour, as my midwife wont check me over she says i have to wait till next app, please help i really am getting uncomftable and I'm a bit worried now,???
