I need help all you parents out there!?

So my child is about to be 7, and he is being a bit challenging both at school and at home, he is always doing things to get peoples attention. today at school he was laughing hysterically at nothing while the teacher was trying to teach and at lunch time he threw his lunch pale over his head cause he thought it would be funny, At home about 2 days ago hwas asked to take out recycling and he proceeded to take out all the gl jars and brake them on the pavement then he lied and said it was his cousin(we knew it was'nt) for both he was sent to his rm. and stayed in there the entire night, his meals were served in there too. I just don't know what to do anymore, I don't want to him , but I don't want him to think that this behavior is ok. I have thought that maybe he has add but I DO NOT want to medicate him. I am at my witts end people help here!
