How do I take off using a manual in the snow?

I gotta go to work (cause I'm broke not cause the boss is forcing me) but I can't even get out of my driveway... normally this would make me call off work, but the roads are clear, just my driveway is crappy. In my automatic I could drive in the snow fine, but now I have a manual Scion tC and I'm stuck. Any suggestions? I'm fairly new at driving a stick so I'm hoping I can't move because I suck at driving and not because my car is so very very bad in the snow....
